M. Krishnan contributed articles on wildlife and a wide variety of other topics to various newspapers and magazines like Hindu, The Illustrated Weekly of India and Shankar’s Weekly. His fortnightly column on Indai's wildlife, Country Notebook was published by the Statesman, Calcutta from the 1950’s until 1996. He illustrated his writing with pen-and-ink drawings and water color paintings.
His work for the Jawaharlal Nehru Fellowship was titled an “Ecological Survey of the Mammals of Peninsular India” and was published by the Bombay Natural History Society in 1971. Krishnan undertook wildlife surveys for various states in India, and wrote guidebooks for some of the sanctuaries. A sample of his work is found here. |
